1. Enter your name Jody
2. Enter your email singingpipes@yahoo.com
3. Post the following 10 Coaching Questions with your specific answers as a comment below:

1. Tell me a little bit about your situation. Where are you at right now?
I moved to a new city to be closer to my family, and left an apartment lease I had signed just two months before. I was not able to find a job where I was. Now the apts. want $4990.00 because I left without 60 days notice. They have already sent it to collections, and will not decrease the amount. Can Debt settlement help in a situation like this?

2. What are your top financial goals? Debt free and on my own, living independently within six months, purchase a home in a year.
3. What will happen if you reach these goals? I'll be happy and have a place for me and my cats.
4. What will happen if you don’t? I'll be looking for a third job!
5. What happened? Lost my job because of an unscrupulous employer.
How come you are not where you want to be? Didn't know about credit when I was younger, and got into trouble. Filed bankruptcy when I had an injury at work and couldn't work for two years. WC ran out after six months, and I had no income, no job, and no ability to work. I didn't however, have a good doctor and he misdiagnosed the injury. So - no long term disability.
Where are you getting stuck? Finding long term, full time work.
6. What’s working, and why? Paying in cash for everything.
7. What’s not working, and why? Living with family to get out of debt - they are great but I want my own place.
8. What might work better? A full-time, decent paying job. Who can make it on $8-10 per hour??
9. What have you learned? I did well for the past few years, have my other debt down to $900, but the apt. complex is really stressing me out. I have learned to read ALL THE FINE PRINT in a lease!
10. What do you need next? A full-time, better paying job.
